The Psychology Project: Defining Our 100% Success Metric

Beyond the Diagnosis: High-Performance ADHD & Executive Function in Newport Beach

Clinical Depth & Scope

Beyond the Surface

At The Psychology Project, we do not shy away from the heaviest clinical burdens. My track record of non-referral stands even when performance blocks are compounded by complex life histories and acute trauma, including:

  • Complex Trauma: Resolving the "freeze" response often mistaken for simple procrastination.

  • Acute Life Transitions: Navigating domestic shifts, grief, and the loss of family members.

  • Deep-Seated Patterns: Addressing childhood abuses, repressed memories, sexual assault, and pervasive feelings of inferiority.

  • High-Stakes Crisis: Supporting clients through suicidal ideation and neurodivergent complexities (ADHD/Autism).

The Fit & Scope: Because the work is intensive and depth-oriented, our initial consultations are always complimentary. This ensures we are a clinical fit and that your goals align with our scope of practice.

Note on Diagnosis: We do not treat personality disorders. However, if you have received a diagnosis that you do not agree with or feel you have been mislabeled by a traditional clinical setting, we are here to provide clarity. Our process is designed to dismantle those labels and look at the actual architecture of your mind.

The Pharmaceutical Distinction

Insight Without the Prescription

With a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I possess a deep understanding of how psychiatric medications function—and more importantly, their long-term side effects and systemic limitations.

We don't just mask symptoms; we rebuild the system. Our focus is on building capacity—creating the internal psychological infrastructure required for sustained concentration and emotional regulation so that the "chemical crutch" is no longer the only option.

Our Clinical Boundary: As a psychotherapist, I am not licensed to prescribe medication, nor do I have the expertise to manage the titration or cessation of your prescriptions. Instead, we focus on building capacity—creating the internal psychological infrastructure required for sustained concentration and emotional regulation. We don't just mask symptoms; we rebuild the system so that a "chemical crutch" is no longer the only path forward.

The Metrics of Success

100% Medication-Free Retention

Since opening my practice in June 2023, my data reflects a distinct clinical reality:

  • 100% Retention: Every client who entered my office with the explicit goal of remaining medication-free has successfully remained medication-free throughout our work. While other providers may have insisted on stimulants or antidepressants, we proved that clinical success is possible through pure analytical work.

  • 85% Reduction Rate: For clients who arrived ready to titrate off existing prescriptions, we have seen an 85% success rate in achieving a medication-free lifestyle.

  • Collaborative Choice: This work is a team effort. We coordinate closely with your primary care providers and specialists to ensure safety and clinical alignment. While some clients choose to remain on medication based on decisions made prior to our work, those who come to us ready for a different path find the tools to take it.
